Bridge Program Admission Requirements
Students may be admitted to pursue the MBA Bridge program in one of two ways. Applicants who meet the Bridge Full Admission requirements may be admitted directly into the MBA program as Bridge students. In addition, the Admissions Committee will consider applicants who do not meet the Bridge Full Admission GMAT requirement for admission to pursue the Pre-MBA as a Bridge Conditional Admission student.

Bridge Full Admission

To qualify for Full Admission to the Bridge program, prior to beginning credit coursework, a student must have a three-year bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with an overall GPA of at least 3.0 or equivalent and a GMAT score of at least 500. Applicants whose native language is not English, including permanent residents living in the U.S., must also submit a score of at least 550 (213 computer-based), with a minimum of 52 (18 computer-based) in each section, on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). All Bridge program students must achieve Full Admission status prior to registering for credit courses in the MBA program.

Bridge Conditional Admission

Conditional Admission to the Bridge program allows applicants who meet the Bridge Full Admission requirements of a three-year bachelors degree, a 3.0 GPA, and a 550 TOEFL score, but who do not meet the GMAT requirement, to apply for GSM's Pre-MBA program (see Pre-MBA program description for admission requirements). Conditional Bridge students who complete the Pre-MBA with a GPA of at least 3.4 will be granted Full Admission status and allowed to begin the Bridge MBA program without submitting a GMAT score.

All Bridge students whose native language is not English will be given the Focal Skills Test as an additional test of English proficiency. The results of this test, along with the TOEFL sectional scores, will be used to place the student in an appropriate section of the English Communications course, if necessary.
