The purpose of the Information Assurance Center is to establish a university focus of effort, expertise,
resources, and a means to involve all relevant stakeholders including; but not limited to: university faculty,
students, businesses, professional associations, governmental entities, not for profit organizations, and
other educational institutions in the pursuit of Information Assurance research, outreach (including
sponsoring events, conferences, seminars, industry colloquium and partnerships), collaboration, internships,
education, publication, and teaching in order to benefit the larger community through its plans and
actions.
