Was It Color Blindness?

I have recently stumbled upon a problem related to color coordination of a web application used for ordering products and services. User has complained about seeing spots after prolonged usage of the forms and tables of this application.

First thing that came to my mind was that her monitor went bad and is probably flickering or has drastically reduced contrast.
